This almond pesto paste with basil is like your classic pesto, but with a little twist. It’s quick and easy to make and it requires only a few ingredients.Â

1. Roast the almonds, and garlic if needed. Let them cool.
2. Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor, pulsing until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
3. Store it in an air-tight glass jar in the fridge for up to one week.
If you don’t like the paste texture, add more oil to reach desired consistency.Â
You can freeze it for up to one month.
